Rivona Player

Your media, played with care

Rivona Player brings personal music and video into one calm library without an account, ads or a subscription. Add files and folders you own, open HTTPS audio, video and HLS links, or browse a read-only WebDAV source. Search by title, album or artist, organize favorites and playlists, continue where you stopped, and see an honest breakdown of source, processing and output conditions when you want the detail. The first 25 local items are free to play. A single optional Lifetime Unlock removes the library limit and opens network sources, advanced library tools, audio controls and private iCloud sync. Media files, artwork, paths and server credentials are never placed in Rivona's CloudKit records.

Preparing for the App Store

Rivona Player is in release preparation. It is not yet available on the public App Store and there is currently no TestFlight build.

Private music & video player

One private library, from pocket to desk

Audio & video

A player for both sides of the collection

Play supported audio and video with a shared queue, repeat and shuffle. Video options keep audio tracks, subtitles, speed, chapters and Picture in Picture close without crowding the default screen.

Network sources

HTTPS, HLS and read-only WebDAV

Open a direct secure stream or browse a server you control. WebDAV credentials stay in the device Keychain, and individual files can be cached locally for later playback.

  • HTTPS only
  • Read-only remote browsing
  • Explicit per-item cache removal

Playback evidence

Quality claims you can inspect

Optional Playback Details separates source facts, processing format, display capability and output conditions. Unknown evidence stays unknown; Rivona does not label a route bit-perfect or HDR-ready without the measurements to support it.

Library tools

Organize without losing the original

Edit library metadata and artwork, find likely duplicates and apply bounded batch actions. Destructive source-file actions are deliberately excluded from Rivona's library tools.

Optional private sync

Selected state in your private iCloud

If you enable Private Sync on a device, Rivona can sync favorites, playlists, playback progress and an allowlisted set of preferences through your private CloudKit database. Media, artwork, paths, credentials and purchase records are excluded.
