The images were captured from a 4.0.1 test build with fictional examples. The App Store currently offers 4.0.2; open the store page for the current version and screenshots.

Tap Bring this cat home to reach the home screen with 25 minutes ready. Tap Start when you are ready; bringing the cat home does not start a timer. Try 1 minute is an optional first experience. After it finishes, the regular default is 25 minutes. Naming your cat and choosing a personality can wait.

Choose Find my cat on the first screen before bringing home a new cat. Private iCloud restores supported growth data; a complete local backup file can also restore things, notes and next steps. Cancel returns to the first screen. These are separate recovery choices.

Choose a regular session length and tap Start. In 4.0.1 the regular presets include 5, 15, 25, 45 and 60 minutes; the optional one-minute experience is on the first screen. Completed focus adds time and earns fish. The complete timer and growth journey are free; fish cannot be purchased.

In 4.0.1, select a thing to work on, or begin without one. Leave a short progress note or next step after your session. Return to that thing to continue. Things, notes and next steps are stored locally; optional iCloud growth backup does not move them between devices.

Seasons and time-of-day scenes work offline. Real weather is optional and needs Location permission for a live WeatherKit request. Location is not stored in Pomeow or in its iCloud backup.

Locking the screen keeps the session going. Switching to another app is handled by the session interruption rules and may pause progress; return to Pomeow to continue. Pomeow does not block calls, alarms or other apps’ notifications.

Open Settings › Notifications › Pomeow and allow notifications. Alerts are scheduled locally on your device. Device settings and Focus modes can affect how they appear.

Dynamic Island is available only on supported iPhone models. A Live Activity can also appear on the Lock Screen. Check that Live Activities are allowed for Pomeow, then start a focus session.

No. The 4.0.1 wardrobe preview lets you try compatible looks and scenes together. Previewing does not grant ownership. Nine optional one-time cosmetic packs change appearance without buying focus time, growth, statistics, fish or mementos.

Choose Restore purchases in the gift shop. Use the same Apple Account that made the non-consumable purchase. Purchases are checked by Apple separately from local or iCloud progress backups.

In 4.0.1, open Local backup and choose Save a complete local backup. Save the file somewhere you trust: it contains personal notes. On the destination device choose the file and review its preview before confirming. Private iCloud growth backup does not include things, notes or next steps.

On an existing 4.0.1 installation, a matching backup can fill missing things, records, notes and hints. Current edits, cleared hints and completed or reopened decisions are kept. Different histories are not automatically combined. Review the preview and confirmation before importing; purchases remain a separate Apple check.

Only after you enable it, supported cat growth, focus totals, memories, identity, earned fish, wardrobe, mementos and related settings are copied to your private CloudKit database. In 4.0.1, things, per-task records, notes, next-step hints, active sessions, buddy links, location and weather cache are excluded. You can disable or delete the cloud backup; restore is an explicit fresh-install choice.

On iOS 26 or later, sign in to iCloud and use Focus Buddy’s private invitation with one person you trust. Shared cat appearance and companion signals are limited to invited participants. Exact focus minutes, things, notes and failed sessions are not shared. Export, unlink and delete are separate choices in the app.
